Wendy quickly noticed a central theme after working with clients in The Villages the past 3 years. It was one of fear and lack of direction from nearly each person with whom she encountered that just received a new health diagnosis.
It did not matter if it was heart disease, Type 2 Diabetes, high cholesterol, cancer, or any other health concern. Each person is always banging their heads against the door because they are not receiving practical guidance from Day 1.
As a result, many patients never become engaged or active in their own healthcare. Wendy had a lightbulb moment with Food Scripts after comforting a stranger, who was just diagnosed with Diabetes, in the produce section at the supermarket with no clue where to begin.
Food Scripts empowers patients to leave a practitioner with some semblance of control and armed with the ability to take action the moment they walk out the door.

Driven by personal and family health challenges spanning over 15 years, Wendy transitioned from a Fortune 500 logistics career to develop healthy, delicious recipes. Addressing the lack of genuinely balanced and appealing options, she launched her functional food business after her own health diagnoses.
Now, based in The Villages, FL, she collaborates closely with diverse medical professionals (from Functional Medicine to Oncology) to refine recipes aimed at improving global health and quality of life, one plate at a time.
